Agrifood Pact for Skills Annual Event

It’s time for our AgriFood Pact for Skills annual event! This year, we are bringing together key stakeholders from the European agri-food ecosystem to shape the future of skills and talent development.

Co-coordinated by us and COPA-COGECA, this initiative is dedicated to upskilling and reskilling the current workforce while making the sector more attractive to young professionals. Our theme, “Shaping Skills for the Future,” focuses specifically on inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in agri-food and addressing the sector’s rapidly evolving needs.

What to expect

Participants will engage in a dynamic programme that combines strategic reflections with practical insights:

• High-Level Dialogues: Strategic discussions on the twin transition (green and digital) and long-term resilience.
• Project Showcases: Highlighting successful training initiatives and EU-funded actions.
• Interactive Exchanges: A platform for industry leaders, educators, and policymakers to co-create actionable solutions.
• Inclusivity Focus: Special sessions on making the sector future-proof and inclusive for young talent.
