3 questions to Almudena Burraco, COVE Spain Leader
The Spain CoVE is led by CESUR. Let’s learn more about this organization and its role in the project.
What is the “mission” of the COVE Spain?
The mission of CoVE Spain is to build a stronger and more connected agrifood vocational education and training ecosystem, where education, innovation and industry work together to shape the future of the sector. We aim to inspire and develop talent by providing specialised training for students and professionals, identifying emerging sector needs, and creating meaningful connections between education and the world of work. Through collaboration, innovation and opportunity, CoVE Spain seeks to empower people and support a more sustainable, competitive and resilient agrifood sector.
What is the “added value” of the COVE Spain for the AF4F project?
The added value of CoVE Spain for the AF4F project lies in its ability to connect people, organisations and ideas across the agrifood ecosystem. By strengthening networking and collaboration between education providers, companies, researchers and other stakeholders, CoVE Spain helps create a more connected and visible vocational training community. It also supports the exchange of knowledge and good practices, while opening new opportunities for innovation, skills development and future partnerships within the sector.
When we finish the AF4F project, what would be the greatest achievement of the project in your opinion?
I think the greatest achievement of the AF4F project would be creating a strong and lasting European network where education, industry and innovation actors continue working together beyond the project itself. If, by the end of AF4F, we have built new collaboration opportunities, improved skills and competences across the agrifood sector, and created connections that lead to future initiatives and shared projects, that would be a real success. In the end, one of the most valuable outcomes would be knowing that the cooperation started by AF4F continues to grow over time.
