Internship description (the tasks, responsibilities, benefits) :
We are offering a 6-month internship for the position of Junior Software Engineer on Smart Agriculture Applications.
This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates in computer science, software engineering, or related fields who are passionate about applying technology to real-world agricultural and environmental challenges.
The intern will support our software development team in building and maintaining smart farming applications, contributing to ongoing EU-funded projects and beyond. Responsibilities will include assisting in the development of web and mobile interfaces (front and back end), implementing features in decision-support platforms, integrating sensor data, and helping with front-end and back-end improvements. Depending on the intern’s skillset, involvement may also include database management, API integration, and GIS functionalities.
You will work closely with agronomists, project managers, and fellow developers, gaining experience in multidisciplinary collaboration and exposure to innovative agri-tech tools such as IoT-based monitoring systems, automated irrigation, and environmental data platforms.
