Exciting News from the Agrifood4Future Mobility Program!
We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone in the Agrifood4Future (AF4F) Mobility Program: the signing of the very first Framework Agreements between a host organization and training institutions! This marks the start of a dynamic cross-border collaboration, laying the foundation for future exchanges that will strengthen skills in the agrifood sector across Europe.
About the AF4F Mobility Program
The program offers 1–6-month internships across six European countries (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Belgium) with a focus on sustainability and digitalization in the agricultural and agri-food sector. Open to both vocational training and higher education students, these placements provide valuable hands-on experience, helping participants expand their knowledge while contributing to the sector’s transformation.
In addition, the program builds partnerships between host organizations (companies, pilot farms) and educational institutions.
First partners to sign
Food4Sustainability (F4S), a collaborative lab based in Idanha-a-Nova, Portugal, focused on sustainable and circular food systems, has signed its first framework agreements with:
- International Hellenic University (IHU), Greece: a leading institution in science and technology education.
- University of Seville, Spain: renowned for research and teaching in agricultural and food sciences.
These organizations have committed to working closely until the end of the project, actively sharing internship opportunities and keeping students informed. This ongoing exchange will foster seamless transnational collaboration, supporting both the professional growth of young talents and the sustainable development of the agrifood industry.
Why this matters
These first agreements are a significant step forward. They demonstrate a commitment to:
- Strengthening cross-border knowledge sharing
- Supporting the professional development of young talents
- Promoting sustainable development in the agrifood sector
Get involved and stay tuned!
We invite all stakeholders to join this journey. Visit the Mobility section of the AF4F website for more information and to access the registration form.
