Become an Agrifood4Future Ambassador

The Agrifood4Future Ambassador Program aims to engage passionate VET individuals who can support the project’s mission by promoting sustainable agrifood systems, fostering community engagement, and amplifying project initiatives across diverse networks. Ambassadors will serve as positive representatives of the project both online and offline, helping to broaden its visibility and impact.

Core Criteria

Passion for Agrifood and Sustainability

  • Demonstrated interest in food systems, sustainability, regenerative agriculture, food innovation, or local agrifood communities.
  • Motivation to contribute to the transformation of agrifood systems.

Active Online Presence

  • Active on LinkedIn social media platform.
  • Engagement level and authenticity are valued more than high follower counts.

Strong Communication Skills

  • Ability to craft clear, engaging posts and messages.
  • Comfortable speaking on video, in webinars, or during live virtual sessions.

Commitment to Project Activities

  • Willing to share 1–2 posts per month related to Agrifood4Future activities.
  • Ready to promote project events, campaigns, or milestones as needed.

Credibility and Influence Within Their Network

  • Recognized as a trusted voice in their community, workplace, university, or professional field.
  • Demonstrates integrity and responsibility in all communications.

Preferred Criteria

Experience in Outreach or Public Engagement

  • Prior involvement in ambassador programs, advocacy, community work, or volunteering.
  • Experience in engaging diverse audiences is an asset.

Multilingual Skills

  • Ability to communicate and promote content in multiple languages to reach broader audiences.

Geographical Diversity

  • The Ambassador should be a citizen or living in one of these countries, including both urban and rural areas, especially those relevant to agrifood systems: Belgium, Greece, France, Italy, Portugal or Spain.

Digital Content Creation Skills

  • Ability to create digital assets such as reels, infographics, carousels, and short-form videos.
  • Basic understanding of social media trends and storytelling.

Availability for Events

  • Willingness to attend (online and/or in-person) project-related events, workshops, and community engagements.
  • Readiness to represent the project professionally.

Optional Add-On Qualifications

Candidates with any of the following backgrounds bring additional value to the program:

  • Students or young professionals interested in agriculture, agri-tech, sustainability, food innovation, or related areas.
  • Affiliation with agrifood institutions or networks, such as cooperatives, research institutions, youth organisations, or sustainability groups.
  • Access to hard-to-reach communities, enabling the project to engage with underrepresented populations or rural stakeholders.

 

In addition to receiving an official Agrifood4Future Ambassador certificate and digital badge, ambassadors will benefit from enhanced visibility at local, national, and European levels. Their contribution will be acknowledged through features on project communication channels, including the website, social media, and newsletters, highlighting their role and activities within the programme.

Ambassadors will be invited to participate in selected Agrifood4Future and relevant EU-level initiatives, such as online campaigns, thematic events, workshops, and dissemination actions, offering valuable networking and learning opportunities. Where applicable, ambassadors may also be referenced in project deliverables and public outputs, strengthening their professional profile and demonstrating active engagement in a European initiative promoting sustainable and innovative agrifood systems.

Ambassadors of the Agrifood4Future will be committed for the duration of the Project until May 2027.
