Internship description (the tasks, responsibilities, benefits) :
Goal : elaboration of alternative, energy saving, production processes for bakery products (cookies, puff pastry, cake, bread, viennoiserie) and meal components (brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, burgers).
Tasks:
- Process optimalisation using new innovative technologies (inline microwave,infrared, vacuum cooling)
- Product characterization: analysis like Aw, moisture content, colour, temperature profiles, crispness analysis, …
- Elaboration of protocols for analysis
- Calculations on energy consumption Responsibilities:
- Able to work independently after necessary training
- Helping to draw up test designs and interpret results
- Work and take note accurately and systematically
