Position summary :
Short Description of the company / lighthouse farm :
We are a small farm using syntropic technics to produce and sell organic certified fruits and vegetables.

Internship description (the tasks, responsibilities, benefits) :
Knowledge, skills and competences to be acquired by the end of the traineeship (expected learning outcomes):
- Practical Knowledge of Applying syntrophic agriculture techniques with a goal of building productive agroforestry systems.
- Management skills based on farming practices, techniques.
- Practical knowledge of Crop rotation techniques
- Practical knowledge of Weed management
- Practical knowledge of Land Management
Monitoring plan:
- Regular meetings: The student will have regular meetings with the supervisor to discuss their work, address any concerns or questions, and receive guidance and feedback. These meetings will take place at least once a week, or more frequently if needed.
- Progress tracking: The supervisor will keep track of the student`s progress throughout the internship by reviewing the reports and other work produced by the student, and providing feedback on areas for improvement.
- Communication: The student and supervisor will have an open-door policy for communication to ensure that any concerns or issues can be addressed in a timely manner. The student will have the possibility to communicate with their supervisor through email or phone call if needed.
Evaluation plan:
- Performance tracking: The supervisor will regularly track the student’s progress towards their goals throughout the internship. This will involve reviewing the reportother work produced by the student, and providing feedback on areas for improvement.
- Mid-term evaluation: Halfway through the internship, the student and the supervisor will meet for a formal evaluation. This will involve discussing the student’s protowards their goals, identifying any areas where the student may need additional support, and discussing any adjustments that may need to be made to the internship plan.
- Final evaluation: At the end of the internship, the student and the supervisor will meet for a final evaluation. The supervisor will provide feedback on the student’s performance and an overall assessment of their work during the internship

Salary :
No financial compensation offered by the farm.
However, please note that Erasmus+ supports traineeships (work placements, internships, etc) abroad for students currently enrolled in higher education institutions in Programme countries at Bachelor and Master level as well as for doctoral candidates. The process is relatively straightforward, requiring only the establishment of a mobility agreement between the students’ higher education institutions and the host organisation, outlining the programme details and expected learning outcomes.
