4 curricula for VET students
Within the AF4F project, partners are developing four innovative VET (Vocational Education and Training) curricula at EQF levels 3–5 to train the “farmers of the future”.
AKMI and the other VET providers involved in the project have defined the curricula content based on the shared ESCO taxonomy.
As shown, the courses are structured around four main areas: Digital Transition, Green Transition, Bioeconomy, and Soft Skills. They combine technical and transversal competences, covering topics such as smart farming, sustainable agriculture, bio-based products, and teamwork skills.
Overall, these VET courses aim to equip learners with practical, future-oriented skills aligned with the green and digital transformation of the agri-food industry.
The curricula are currently being implemented and tested in Italy (PhormaMentis and ITS Tech&Food), Spain (CESUR), and Greece (AKMI), with the possibility of further implementation in Belgium by VIVES. This phase will provide valuable feedback from both learners and educators.
Semester Exchange

An enriching study abroad experience for undergraduate and master’s students. Participants will have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in Italy, Portugal, Belgium, or France benefiting from a Erasmus+ grant. The semester includes lessons and internship.

Mobility Program
This program offers international internship opportunities, lasting from 1 to 6 months, within seven European countries (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Greece, and Belgium).
These mobilities are focused on the themes of sustainability and digitalization in the agricultural and agri-food sector. Open to students from vocational training as well as higher education, these internships provide practical experience to deepen knowledge while contributing to the industry’s dynamic evolution.
