Course for Agricultural Advisors
Faced with the challenges of climate change, resource scarcity and market developments, the Erasmus+ AgriFood4Future (AF4F) project offers an online training programme dedicated to agricultural advisers. Its objective is to strengthen their skills in innovative technologies, climate change adaptation and sustainable practices, in order to better support farmers towards more resilient and efficient agriculture.
The AF4F Training Course for Agricultural Advisors is a free, online course in English (18 hours), designed in collaboration with several European partners. It consists of six complementary modules covering key topics such as smart and precision farming, regenerative agriculture, energy production from intermediate crops, and assessing the environmental footprint of the agri-food chain. Participants develop practical skills to effectively advise farmers on the digital and ecological transition.
At the end of the course, learners can obtain a micro-certification recognising their new skills. At the same time, the AgriFood4Future e-learning platform offers other free courses, including the MOOC Digital Agriculture (10 hours) and the Capacity Building: Improving Skills for Smart Farming programme (20 hours), designed to support advisers, farmers and SMEs in the transition to more sustainable and connected agriculture.
